The Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (VICAP) provides personalized counseling and assistance to Virginia’s approximately 1.1 million Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers who often need help navigating the increasingly complex health care system.
VICAP provides accurate, understandable, and objective information, counseling, and assistance to Medicare beneficiaries on a wide range of health insurance issues, including Medicare, Medicaid, long-term care, and prescription drugs.
So whether you are wondering when you need to sign up for a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan or whether long-term care insurance might be a wise investment based on your situation, you can count on VICAP to be a trusted source of information and guidance.
